Event Rules & Park Regulations

Please read ALL our rules & information before continuing with the application.Signing your application indicates agreement to ALL terms, regardless of application approval.

          GPS or map directions:   Use the intersection of North Park Drive and McClellan Avenue, Pennsauken, NJ 08109.

  •    Event time is from 10 am to 6 pm, rain or shine. Set up is from 8 am to 9:30 am.
  •    In case of emergency please retain the following phone number: 856.419.4434.
  •    SJPP reserves the right to decline any vendor or item of merchandise as SJPP deems appropriate. This may include but is not limited to: duplicate merchandise or services, illegal or dangerous items, poor services, etc. You will receive confirmation and approval/decline notice within about 1 week of receiving your application. If you do not hear from us, we did not get it.
  •    Merchandise and services must be safe and appropriate for all ages.
  •    Vendors, Entertainers, and Presenters are responsible for carrying their own product liability, liability and event insurance.
  • SJPP And PPP, Inc. will be held harmless of any allegations regarding Vendors, Entertainers, and Presenters products, services, actions, etc.
  •    Merchandise vendors who wish to also have psychic readings or other services at their table, will be charged an additional vending fee. Services/Readings performing readings alone (no merchandise) may pay just the flat vendor fee. Services/ Readings will be treated similarly to merchandise, regarding duplicates. Non-registered, non-approved readings will not be allowed.
  •    Absolutely no firearms, knives, weapons, or open flames. Unfortunately, this includes athames and bollines.
  •    Absolutely no food or drink may be sold. The park regulates food vending strictly. Food and Drink will be available for purchase via Mike’s Hot Diggity Dogs, which is pre-approved and registered with Camden County Parks. Picnicking, however, for yourself and employees is encouraged and allowed.
  •    No alcoholic beverages are allowed at the event or in Cooper River Park at any time (state law).
  •    Vendor vehicles cannot park on the park grass, but weather and space permitting, you may drive near your spot and unload, THEN MOVE YOUR CAR TO THE LOT. The park will fine you up to $500 per vehicle after 9:30 am. Parking is in designated areas only. Parking is available in the large parking lot or along N. Park Drive. PLEASE BRING CARTS AND ABLE BODIED PEOPLE TO HELP MOVE YOUR STUFF! Our volunteers will also be happy to assist you.
  •    Gazebos, tents and ropes must be marked clearly and safely out of any walk ways and adhere to Fire codes.
  •    Booths will not be broken down or packed up before 6:00 pm, regardless of weather.
  •    Smoking is discouraged in the shopping and activity areas. If you must smoke, be considerate of others and dispose of your butts appropriately.
  •    Vendor trash is your responsibility. Please leave the park as clean as when you arrived, if not better! Bring a bag for your garbage. Sealed garbage bags may be left neatly near the Park garbage cans (at the end of the day) for pick up.
  •    The event is held rain or shine, prepare accordingly. There are no refunds on registration fees.
  •    Absolutely no refunds for cancellations or no-shows. Un-cashed checks will be returned in the event of declined applications.
  •    Vendor locations will be assigned by the SJPP Committee. A map will be drawn prior to the event, and spots marked by number. Vendors will receive notice of your location at least 48 hours before the event.
  •    Vendors, participants, lecturers, and anyone else participating in South Jersey Pagan Pride Day should be on their “best behav- ior” as far as attitude, language, and attire. YOU may be the only Pagan representative an attendee meets, and therefore we hold a high standard of decorum. Please mind your manners and your language during the event. Persons unable to do so may be asked to leave and will not be invited back to participate next year.
  •    Regarding photographs: As this is a public event, photographs will likely be taken. The Local Media are invited and encouraged. This includes TV, Radio, and Written Media. We cannot be held responsible for every attendee with a camera. However, SJPPD respects your privacy and copyrighted materials. Our official staff photographers will be well marked.
  • If it is your wish not to be photographed or have your merchandise photographed up-close, please inform us at the welcome table when you check in. We will do our best to make sure that such persons are not filmed close-up, however, distance shots are inevitable and necessary for the future promotion of our event.
  •    All vendors must read, sign, and submit original signatures on the attached Hold Harmless Agreement.

                                                                               HOLD HARMLESS AGREEMENT

The contractor/vendor/participant shall indemnify and hold harmless South Jersey Pagan Pride, The Pagan Pride Project, Camden County Parks and Camden County Board of Chosen Freeholders, AND all sponsors, groups, their Employees, Volun- teers, Agents, and Servants from any and all losses, penalties, damages, settlements, costs, charges, professional fees (including attorney’s fees) or other expenses or liabilities including the investigation and defense of any claims, arising out of or resulting from the performance of the contractor/vendor’s work, merchandise, crafts, services, or the completed opera- tions provided that any such claim, damage, loss, or expense (a) is attributable to bodily injury, sickness, disease, or death, or to injury to or destruction of tangible property including the loss of the use resulting in their form; and (b) is caused in whole or in part by any negligent act or omission of the contractor/vendor, or anyone directly or indirectly employed by them or anyone for whose acts they may be liable (including claim by an employee of the contractor/vendor) regardless of whether it is caused in party by a party indemnified hereunder.

It is each contractor/vendor/participant’s own responsibility to carry their own product liability and/or event insurance, and therefore South Jersey Pagan Pride, The Pagan Pride Project, Camden County Parks and Camden County Board of Chosen Freeholders, AND all sponsors, groups, their Employees, Volunteers, Agents, and Servants will be held  harmless for any claims involving such.

In any and all claims against South Jersey Pagan Pride and The Pagan Pride Project, Camden County Parks and Camden Coun- ty Board of Chosen Freeholders, and all sponsors or groups involved, their Employees, Agents, and Servants by any employees of the contractor/vendor, anyone directly or indirectly employed by them or anyone for whose acts they may be liable, the indemnification obligation under this Agreement shall not be limited in any way by any limitation on the amount or type of damages, compensation or benefits payable by or for the contractor/vendor under Worker’s Compensation Acts, disability benefit acts, or other employee benefit acts.

It is also understood that use of the park playground, by you or any persons or children you bring with you, is at your own risk. None of the above named or any associated participants will be held responsible for any losses or injuries regarding the playground or surrounding area. This agreement must be signed by any and all possible participants at your booth.
